INCREASE OF CAIXA ECONÓMICA MONTEPIO GERAL’S INSTITUTIONAL CAPITAL In compliance with article no. 248 of the Código dos Valores Mobiliários, Caixa Económica Montepio Geral (CEMG) informs that an increase of its institutional capital has been made in an amount of €250,000,000 fully paid by Montepio Geral Associação Mutualista (MGAM). The said increase of institutional capital was fulfilled by MGAM through the investment in the institutional capital, in cash, amounting to €250,000,000, on June 30, 2017, resulting in a CEMG’s institutional capital of € 2,020,000,000. As a result of the increase in institutional capital, CEMG will amend Article 7, paragraph 3, of the CEMG Statutes.
